About Thermal Imaging (Thermography)images

Medical DITI enables the examiner to visualize and quantify changes in skin surface temperature. An infrared scanning device is used to convert infrared radiation emitted from the skin surface into electrical impulses that are visualized in color on a monitor. This visual image graphically maps the body temperature and is referred to as a Thermogram. Since there is a high degree of thermal symmetry in the normal body, subtle abnormal temperature asymmetries can be easily identified.

These thermal patterns displayed on the Thermogram are as unique as fingerprints. In healthy people there is a symmetrical thermal pattern that is consistent and reproducible for that individual. Injury or disease will result in thermal asymmetries. DITI performed with our Flir camera will record these thermal patterns in a Thermograph in precise detail with a temperature sensitivity of 0.01°C.

Medical DITI is a monitor of thermal abnormalities present in a number of diseases and physical injuries. It is used as an aid for diagnosis and prognosis, as well as therapy follow up and rehabilitation monitoring, within clinical fields that include Rheumatology, Neurology, Physiotherapy, Sports Medicine, Oncology, Pediatrics, Orthopedics and many others.

Their Thermograms are performed using the Flir A310 Digital Thermagraphic System, one of the best available cameras on the market. Thermography was FDA approved in 1982 for breast imaging and in 2004 for additional uses such as cardiovascular and gastrointestinal.

They make comparative scans to optimize the analysis and have the capability to scan the entire body.

There imaging room is specially designed to maintain temperature without air movement. The camera remains stationary for accuracy and to avoid re calibration.

All scans are read in the office and preliminary results are discussed along with the patients additional concerns.

 Cancer Care

ThermaLife offers diagnosed cancer patients an individualized approach to their cancer care

They work with your oncology team to offer immune support, natural therapies, and counseling services.

They have experience with various therapies offered around the world. Their desire is to help cancer patients to become informed of all the options open to them.  Just because a cancer protocol worked for one person, doesn’t mean it will work for all. Dr. Paden works with each cancer patient individually to develop a plan for their care.

Dr. Paden is a certified nutritional counselor and trained in Gerson Therapies, Budwig Protocols, Laetrile (B17), Essiac, Peroxide therapy, Barley protocol, and many others which are based on immune support and dietary changes. Cancer Centers of America and American Cancer Society both recognize the need for a holistic approach to cancer care.

Why would someone with cancer choose natural approaches or alternative medicine?

  • To relieve side effects of main stream medicines without taking more medicine

  • They are seeking an approach with fewer side effects

  • They want to take an active role in their own health and wellness

  • A personal preference

  • The body is an amazing machine capable of self healing in the proper environment and when kept balanced

How can there be a cooperation between natural and mainstream medicine?

  • We know the health care provider has their patient’s best interest in mind

  • There are more factors at play than just those that can be treated with modern medicine

  • Open communication is key between the health care provider, patient, and natural wellness provider

What other services do you offer?

  • Additional Therapies that offer immune support

  • Nutritional Counseling

  • Emotional and Spiritual Counseling

  • Kinesiology, Detoxification, and Lymphatic Congestion Therapies
